Intern: Governance & Gender, Agriculture, Food Security, in South Sudan
A better life for all and meaningful work for our employees – that is our model for success. For more than 50 years, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) has been supporting the German Government in implementing development policy objectives worldwide. Together with partner organisations in 120 countries, we are involved in a wide variety of projects. If you want to make a difference in the world and develop yourself in the process, you’ve come to the right place.
Field of activity
GIZ South Sudan implements various projects in the areas of agriculture, food security and good governance & gender. The core activities include education and training for smallholder farmers, protection of natural resources, promotion of social cohesion, capacity building of public structures and prevention of sexualised violence. Due to the tense security situation, the projects are managed remotely from Germany. This is a rare opportunity to work directly in a project context based in Germany.
