Collaborative Problem Solving
Working as an independent consultant can often be lonely work with tricky clients. Como hosts regular sessions where collective members can bring ideas or challenges to the table for collaborative problem solving. These are spaces for members to share ideas, leverage each others experience and define solutions to the topic at hand.
Learning
We host a network of thousands of incredible partners who are leading the way in politics, philanthropy, climate, health and beyond – working across all regions and fields of work. Como hosts discussions led by industry experts across a range of thematic areas.
Professional Development
Throughout the year there will be opportunities for members to host and attend skills based workshops, topical debates & thematic discussions about topics on which they have specific expertise. Members will also be invited to share their work and perspectives on different issues via our Como community bulletin.
Networking
Members will have the chance to connect with each other, and with our clients, partners and wider community members at the various in-person and virtual events we host throughout the year.
Flexible Work
For all core and collective team members, we operate a flexible work policy. We recognise work is neither the only, nor the most important part of an individual’s world and we do everything we can to help members balance professional and personal commitments.
Introduction and Referral Fee
We allocate 3% of the project value – up to 12 months – as a referral bonus for consultants who bring in new clients or projects.
Independent Fee Setting
Como has a set fee structure for clients, and a set pay structure for consultants. However, for many collective members their fees do not necessarily fit within this structure. Where members bring in projects that they wish to apply for through Como, and where their skills and experience match the scope of work, we will co-develop the proposal and, where possible, accommodate fee levels.
New Opportunities
There are many opportunities that Comotion does not apply for due to the size, scope or suitability. We will share these opportunities with collective members for individual application and where relevant, provide support in the application.
