I’ve been supporting GOC’s clients with content writing, social media, events, and partnerships, since 2020. Initially a language and culture enthusiast, I have a BA in French and Spanish from King’s College London and an MSc in European Studies: Ideas, Ideologies and Identities from LSE.
In the last six years, I’ve written everything–from speeches to books–on behalf of clients. I’ve had their articles published in publications including The Independent and IPS, as well as some under my own name in Thrive, Hormona, Fearless She Wrote, Invisible Illness, and (of course) Women in Dev, among others.
Previously, I worked in Brussels’ “EU Bubble” on communications for the European Commission and the European Parliamentary Forum for Sexual & Reproductive Rights–the latter of which introduced me to the gender and International Development spaces. Highlights included co-organising IPCI 2018 in Ottawa alongside UNFPA, as well as hosting a parliamentary delegation at ICFP 2018 in Kigali. I was also Managing Editor of the sociopolitical magazine, Euro Babble, during which time it won the ECAS Award and the European Citizen’s Prize.
Meanwhile, highlights at GOC have been working on Co-Impact’s Gender Fund launch, Women’s March Global’s “Global Count” campaign, and managing the Women in Dev blog and newsletter.
