I come to the Director of Digital Communications role at Comotion inspired by pioneering digital agencies that reimagined the way people interact in advocacy and elections. By prioritizing the makeup of content through accessible channels, we shift from a single narrative controlled by one perspective to a more collaborative dynamic.
Within 12 years I have built and implemented digital communications strategies and campaigns for organizations, governments and leaders in New York, USA, and London, England.
I have developed campaigns for London’s City Hall to engage European Londoners in the Mayoral electoral process throughout years long Brexit negotiations, combat misinformation among BAME Londoners about changes in organ donation policies, and promote gender equity on London’s historic Blue Plaques.
I have written and designed rapid response for NY Governor Cuomo, including for initiatives to protect New Yorkers from then-President Trump’s Muslim Ban, raise the age of incarceration, and implement the country’s leading Paid Family Leave policy.
My work is informed by research in the study of communications and behavior science. My 2018 Master’s research was an investigation on perceptions on sexual assault and harassment, and public leadership amid the ongoing #MeToo conversation, and was recognized as the Political Studies Review’s Best Paper of 2022.
