SheDecides, an organisation that builds political and public support for a world where all women, girls and young people—in all their diversity—can decide what to do with their body, life and future. We provided them with a donor for the upcoming three years.
Problem
Reduced funding and political will for SRHR put SheDecides at risk. They needed informed guidance and a clear strategy to underpin their fundraising efforts over the next 3 years.
Objectives: Develop a resource mobilisation framework and action plan for SheDecides to implement over the next 3 years.
Approach
We conducted a series of informal stakeholder interviews with past, current and prospective funders to better understand SheDecides’ value proposition to bi-lateral and other funders to understand where they fit in the funding landscape. From there, we designed a resource mobilisation strategy their new strategic framework.
Outcomes
A 3 year resource mobilisation strategy and workplan, with ongoing advisory on strategy roll out.
