AWID – the largest global network of women’s rights organisations – required strategic digital communications, including database management, content creation, translation, localisation and social media management to promote various programmes and projects.
Problem
AWID needed digital communications support to effectively promote various programmes and projects to their international and multi-platform audiences in three languages.
Objectives
Support AWID’s digital communications processes for the promotion of various programmes and projects. Create responsive and evergreen content in English, French and Spanish for their international, multi-platform audiences.
Approach
We supported AWID with various areas of their digital communications, including database management, content creation, French and Spanish translation, localisation and social media management to promote various programmes and projects. We strategised, built and published editorial and graphic content for evergreen and responsive social media, web and email programmes.
Outcomes
We provided AWID with digital communications support for their day-to-day outputs and also spearheaded the development of a job site for gender and feminist jobs in collaboration with the organisation. We later took over the management of what has become an institutional platform for jobs in the gender and global health space.
